such a journey
you should create a book and take lead the viewers through your work slowly just like you did hear
I love this approach
I particularly love the portion with the kite in the water. Great story and work.
Thanks. It is a nice format to display an image like this, even superior to a real gallery experience in some ways.
A visual haiku (in half as many “syllables”)! I love the scale (of house in relation to children in relation to kite and sky). Serene and almost surreal. You really know how to create a mood.
This piece is really special. All your strengths working together to create a compelling narrative. This is a painting I’d want to hang in my house and just stare at for long periods of time.
I agree…to tell the story in detail images is really nice for a piece like this. My thought is, should you put the full image at the end, as the “surprise” so people dont realize until then that its one piece or is it better to know that from the beginning? I think either is interesting but just curious as to how they would make the experience different for the viewer…
Good idea Darla, something to think about. If this was in book format, that’s probably what I would do.
