I LOVE this. The colors are wonderful. I think the lollipop the girl is holding finishes the composition off really nicely. Where did the photo of the two girls come from?

Thanks, Emily! I have a pretty extensive collection of vintage tintypes and cabinet cards, and I’ve always loved these two girls, their posture and air of collusion.
Love this! I specifically like the texture/pattern of the dresses, and how the one flamingo in the foreground is subtle, yet front and center and staring right at you. The overall psychological aspect of this piece is very interesting.
